Griffin: New Arkansas Veterans Home Construction Made Eligible for Federal Grant

LITTLE ROCK – January 6, 2013 – (RealEstateRama) — Congressman Tim Griffin (AR-02) issued the following statement after the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs included Arkansas on its FY2014 Priority Group 1 List of pending State Veteran Home Construction Grant Projects:

“This priority 1 designation is an important next step in the process of building a new state veterans home.  Arkansas ranks 19th on the list of 62 projects, so our state is well-positioned to receive federal funding.  I will continue to do everything I can to support the completion of this critical facility, which will help Arkansas honor its obligation to care for our veterans and provide the important services they have earned.”
