ADFA Awards $335,476 for Affordable Housing

Little Rock, AR (April 18, 2008) – The Arkansas Development Finance Authority (ADFA), Arkansas’s state housing finance agency, on January 17, approved the allocation of $335,476 in HOME Investment Partnerships Program (HOME) funds for the Drew County Public Facilities Board (DCPFB).

The funds will be used at scattered sites in Monticello, Wilmar and Fountain Hill for the reconstruction of three and rehabilitation of two homes for low-income families. DCPFB is a repeat applicant for HOME funds and have completed 31 homeowner rehabilitation activities in the past five years.

The HOME Program makes funds available for the development of affordable housing for low and moderate-income individuals and families, and encourages partnerships among state agencies, local governments, not-for-profit, and for-profit organizations.
