                    Washington, DC - July 9, 2010 - (RealEstateRama) -- U.S. Senators Blanche Lincoln and Mark Pryor today announced that Crawford-Sebastian Community Development Council, Inc. will receive a $312,500 U.S. Department of Agriculture grant to help low-income families build their own homes.

                    Washington, DC - March 30, 2010 - (RealEstateRama) --  U.S. Senators  Blanche Lincoln and Mark Pryor and U.S. Representatives Marion Berry  (AR-01), Vic Snyder (AR-02) and Mike Ross (AR-04) today announced that  17 Arkansas housing authorities will receive a total of $765,627 in U.S.  Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) funds to hire and  retain coordinators who will help individuals receiving public housing  assistance secure employment. Coordinators help families and individuals  acquire training and other services that assist them in finding  employment or higher-paying jobs.

The funds will be used to help with cleanup efforts from the January ice storm.

The funds will enable the  organization to provide assistance to 21 families in Boone, Carroll, Marion,  Newton and Searcy Counties.
